Courses fill up around 6 weeks before the start so we advise you to pay at least your deposit ASAP!

Our Bridal Hair and Make Up Course is scheduled for February 2012 which means that you have time to complete it before starting work on the 2012 summer season!

London Muse offer two weekend Bootcamp Courses – Catwalk Trends and Bridal Make Up.

The next Catwalk Trends Bootcamp will be in February and the next Bridal Bootcamp will be in April 2012.

Basic Effects for TV/Film Course commences in February 2012.  You do need to complete a Foundation Course (either with us or at a reputable make up school) before attending as this course involves advanced make up application. (£1,200 or £1,080 when paid in full before course)

In June, we will be once again opening our doors for an ULTIMATE one – month course.

This is a fabulous, all -inclusive course that will teach you from the basic right through and cover everything from make up, hairstyling, minx nails, airbrushing and much, much more.

8th December – 11am – 1pm - Bridal Masterclass – £50 non students or FREE to students

10th December – Minx (10am -1.30pm)  and Eyelash demo (afternoon) plus student evening (onwards) – £200 non students or £160 students

11th December – 11am – 1pm -Christmas Looks Masterclass - £50 non students or FREE to students

The lovely and highly talented tutors at London Muse regularly take our students out on jobs and love to provide them with the opportunity to work on real shoots. This is unbelievably helpful for students as they enjoy and learn from the experience under the supervision and with the support of the PROs who have their best interests at heart.

Opportunities such as this include magazine photoshoots, music videos, fashion and catwalk or TV/Film work.

Monday June 4th – Sunday July 1st  2012

Foundation Make Up Certificate Course

Start from the basics – the essentials we request that everyone completes before progressing.

All students benefit from this initial six days as you work through facial geometry, kit, brushes, skin tones, hygiene  as well as basic techniques that will carry you smoothly through to the more advanced weeks. This course is suitable for absolute beginners.

Week Two: Monday June 11th  – Saturday June 16th

Advanced Make Up Certificate Course

During the Advanced week, you work through a variety of make up areas such as glamour, editorial, catwalk and fashion before completing the course with a photoshoot. The photoshoot (see photos on our facebook page) is an excellent opportunity to experience a real shoot atmosphere working alongside a professional team of creatives – hair stylist, clothes stylist, celebrity photographer and models.

Week Three: Monday June 18th – Saturday June 23rd

Bridal Hair and Make Up Course

During this week students will work through techniques specific to bridal make up, work on etiquette, bridal trends, building your bridal business and what to expect when you start out. Students will be introduced to the art of airbrushing using make up artists favourite, AIRBASE and have a chance to try it out for themselves.

You will enjoy two days of bridal hair styling. Working with traditional and contemporary bridal styling, you will learn how to give the most to your bride and provide her with a look that is perfect for her. Your confidence will be built as your knowledge increases, you learn new techniques and pick up valuable tips to ensure your work is professional, smooth and successful.

Week Four: Monday June 25th– Saturday June 30th

Hairstyling for Make Up Artists

This short, intensive course for beginners will cover the current trends in session hairstyling, including editorial, bridal and catwalk.

An excellent addition to the skill set of any serious make up artist. Learn the skill of hairstyling and immediately edge closer to getting the job instead of the next artist.

Sunday July 1^st

Photoshoot

Complete your course with a photoshoot. London Muse will provide the studio and creative team and this is your time to put to the test everything that you have learnt so far!

Ultimate Hair and Make Up Course: £4,200

We require a 40% deposit at the time of booking.

Accommodation

We can also arrange accommodation from only £160 a week.

Students are often most concerned about this day and the nerves start building early on in the course! However, once they are in the studio, they just get on with it, keep calm and carry on. Occasionally, they even seem to enjoy it! Their hard work and dedication during the intensive make up certificate course shows through on the day and the results speak for themselves.
