Student Spotlight Saturday

I am really excited to introduce you to student Sanna Ericsson this week. I met her at the school last summer and we talked about her joining us for a course.

In January this year, she arrived and it was a fantastic three weeks as she took the journey from Foundation Make Up through to PRO! I will hand you over to her to hear more about her time at London Muse!

Foundation Make Up Certificate to Pro Make Up Certificate (Jan 2011)

Best memory?

The whole experience was absolutely amazing. Watching Nicci Jackson work and meet so many cool and friendly people from all over the world. Nicci, Dee and Antonia brought so much positive energy and encouragement that just amazes you.


What skills have you used since completing your course?

All of it! I have definitely stepped up in making the makeup more symmetrical and precise. I’ve also used a lot of the correcting techniques that Nicci taught me.

Which part of the course were you most proud of?

The most challenging part of the course was without doubt the photo shoot. I started off quite shaky, so I’m really proud that I managed to pull myself together, and as a result I could walk away with a kickass photo.  I’m also very proud to be a part of the London Muse growing family.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Except for the photo shoot, the biggest challenge was to believe in myself. To suddenly change your career path is never easy but Nicci definitely pushed me and told me to believe in my art.

What have you done since leaving London Muse?

Two days after the course was finished I moved to Dubai. It was a lot to sort out so I had to put everything to do with makeup on hold for a while. Once settled I went out there and manage to get a job at M.A.C. It’s going great so far and my ambitions are on track.
