Give us a typical ‘day in the life of…’ a make up artist
My day begins the night before, sorting my kit and checking location. Wake up before the rest of civilisation to travel to shoot. Arrive early to eat fattening studio breakfast with crew, and set up. Go over call sheet with fashion editordirector. Greet model/artiste and create look…love this time chatting, laughing and being artistic. Final checks while photographer/crew light up. Start shooting, keeping a close eye on hair and makeup and checking monitor for imperfections. Drink copious amounts of coffee with clothes stylist!!! Wait for those glorious words “ITS A WRAP!”
